N’Golo Kanté (born 29 March 1991) is a French defensive midfielder known for his incredible work rate and defensive prowess. He began his professional career with Boulogne in 2012, before moving to Caen and helping them secure promotion to Ligue 1. In 2015, Kanté joined Leicester City for £5.6 million, playing a pivotal role in their 2016 Premier League title win.The following year, Kanté transferred to Chelsea for £32 million, where he won numerous trophies, including the Premier League, UEFA Champions League, and FIFA Club World Cup. After seven successful seasons at Chelsea, he moved to Saudi Pro League club Al-Ittihad in 2023. Internationally, Kanté debuted for France in 2016, was named French Player of the Year in 2017, and played a crucial role in France’s 2018 FIFA World Cup victory. His individual accolades include Premier League Player of the Season and PFA Players’ Player of the Year.
