Athletic Club Sparta Praha, known as Sparta Prague, is the most successful football club in the Czech Republic and a dominant force in Central Europe. Founded in 1893, Sparta has won a record 38 domestic league titles and 16 Czech Cups, making them a football powerhouse. Internationally, they have clinched the Mitropa Cup three times and reached the semi-finals of the European Cup in 1992. Sparta’s historic Epet Arena, also known as Letná Stadium, has witnessed numerous iconic matches.
