Seattle Seahawks

The Seattle Seahawks are a professional American football team in Seattle, Washington, competing in the National Football League (NFL) as a member of the NFC West division. Established as an expansion team in 1976, the Seahawks initially played in the AFC West from 1977 until 2001, before rejoining the NFC. The team has had significant success over the years, including winning Super Bowl XLVIII. The Seahawks have called Lumen Field their home since 2002, following a history of playing in the Kingdome and Husky Stadium. The franchise is known for its passionate fan base, often referred to as the “12th Man,” and has developed a strong identity around tough, physical football and a distinctive “Legion of Boom” defense in the 2010s.
