Oklahoma City Thunder

The Oklahoma City Thunder, an NBA team in the Western Conference’s Northwest Division, plays at the Paycom Center. Founded as the Seattle SuperSonics in 1967, the franchise relocated to Oklahoma City in 2008. The Thunder’s rich history includes 22 playoff appearances and one NBA Championship (1979) as the SuperSonics. Since moving to Oklahoma City, they clinched their first playoff spot in the 2009–10 season, secured their first division title in 2010–11, and won the Western Conference in 2011–12, reaching the NBA Finals. The Thunder’s G League affiliate is the Oklahoma City Blue, owned by the team.
