New York Jets

The New York Jets are a professional football team based in the New York metropolitan area, competing in the NFL as part of the AFC East division. They share their home field, MetLife Stadium, with the New York Giants in East Rutherford, New Jersey, located just west of New York City. The team operates from its headquarters at the Atlantic Health Jets Training Center in Florham Park, New Jersey.Established in 1959 as the Titans of New York, the franchise was a charter member of the AFL and joined the NFL during the 1970 AFL-NFL merger. The team was renamed the New York Jets in 1963 and has undergone several relocations, including stints at the Polo Grounds, Shea Stadium, and its current home at the Meadowlands Sports Complex. The Jets are co-owned by Woody and Christopher Johnson, with Woody Johnson serving as chairman and CEO.
