The franchise, originally established as the Vancouver Grizzlies in 1995, relocated to Memphis in 2001. The team plays its home games at FedExForum. The Grizzlies are known for their tenacious “Grit and Grind” style of play, which characterized their rise in the early 2010s. Key figures in this era included Marc Gasol and Zach Randolph.
