The LA Galaxy, one of Major League Soccer’s most iconic franchises, were established in 1994 and began competing in 1996 as one of the league’s original 10 teams. Owned by Anschutz Entertainment Group, the team has enjoyed remarkable success, winning a record five MLS Cups, four Supporters’ Shields, and a CONCACAF Champions’ Cup. The Galaxy play at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California, and have a fierce rivalry with both the San Jose Earthquakes (California Clásico) and Los Angeles FC (El Tráfico). The club gained global attention with the 2007 signing of David Beckham, and has since featured stars like Landon Donovan and Zlatan Ibrahimović.
