Kaizer Chiefs Football Club, based in Naturena, Johannesburg South, is one of the most successful and popular football clubs in South Africa. Founded on January 7, 1970, the team, affectionately known as AmaKhosi or the Phefeni Glamour Boys, plays in the Betway Premiership. With a record 13 league titles and over 42 cup trophies, Kaizer Chiefs is a dominant force in South African football. Their most recent trophy was the Shell Helix Ultra Cup in October 2019. The club is renowned for its passionate fan base, often drawing the highest average attendance in the league, and for its intense rivalry with Orlando Pirates. Chiefs’ home ground is the FNB Stadium, boasting a massive capacity of 94,797. The club was founded by Kaizer Motaung, who also serves as the owner and chairman.
