Owned by Arthur Blank, co-founder of The Home Depot, Atlanta United quickly made a mark in MLS, winning the MLS Cup in their second season (2018) under coach Gerardo Martino. Known for setting attendance records, the team is a significant player in the league. In 2024, Forbes valued Atlanta United as the second most valuable MLS franchise at $900 million.
