Vladimir Guerrero Jr., born March 16, 1999, is a Canadian-Dominican MLB first baseman for the Toronto Blue Jays. Son of Hall of Famer Vladimir Guerrero, he made his MLB debut in 2019 and quickly became a powerhouse. Signed as an international free agent in 2015, Guerrero rose to prominence with a standout 2018 season, batting .381 with 20 home runs and earning Minor League Player of the Year honors. In 2021, he led MLB in home runs, runs scored, and total bases, earned All-Star MVP as the youngest ever, and finished second in AL MVP voting. Known for his power and precision, Guerrero is a rising star in baseball.
