Steven Stamkos, born February 7, 1990, is a Canadian professional ice hockey forward currently playing for the Nashville Predators in the NHL. Drafted first overall by the Tampa Bay Lightning in 2008, Stamkos is renowned for his scoring ability, having won the Maurice “Rocket” Richard Trophy twice (2010, 2012). A seven-time NHL All-Star, he has been named to the NHL Second All-Star Team twice and holds the record for the most goals and points by any player born in the 1990s. Stamkos captained the Lightning to consecutive Stanley Cup victories in 2020 and 2021.
