Shaquil Akeem Barrett, a former professional football linebacker, played for nine seasons in the NFL. Barrett’s career began when he was signed by the Denver Broncos as an undrafted free agent after the 2014 NFL Draft. He won Super Bowl 50 with the Broncos before joining the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, where his play elevated to Pro Bowl and All-Pro levels. In 2019, Barrett led the league in sacks, and in 2021, he won his second Super Bowl championship with the Buccaneers, recording a sack in the game. After his time with the Bucs, he signed with the Miami Dolphins in 2024 before retiring shortly after.
