Ahmad “Sauce” Gardner is a professional football cornerback for the New York Jets in the NFL. Born on August 31, 2000, in Detroit, Michigan, Gardner grew up playing both wide receiver and cornerback in high school. He attended Martin Luther King Jr. Senior High School in Detroit, where he earned All-State honors at cornerback. Gardner played college football for the Cincinnati Bearcats, where he established himself as one of the top defensive players in the nation. In 2022, he was selected by the Jets as the fourth overall pick in the NFL Draft.
