Ronald Acuña Jr., born on December 18, 1997, is a Venezuelan outfielder for the Atlanta Braves. Signed as an international free agent in 2014, he debuted in MLB in 2018, immediately making an impact by winning the National League Rookie of the Year. Known for his powerful hitting and base-stealing prowess, Acuña has earned four All-Star selections, three Silver Slugger Awards, and twice led the league in stolen bases. In 2023, he joined the exclusive 40–40 club and set a modern franchise record with 73 stolen bases, becoming the first player ever with a 40–70 season. Acuña also clinched the NL MVP in 2023.
