Marco Reus

Marco Reus (born 31 May 1989) is a German professional footballer, known for his versatility as an attacking midfielder or winger. A product of Borussia Dortmund’s youth system, Reus began his professional career at Rot Weiss Ahlen before rising to prominence at Borussia Mönchengladbach. His breakout 2012 season saw him score 18 goals and provide 12 assists, earning him a move back to Dortmund. At Dortmund, Reus became a club legend, scoring over 150 goals and leading the team as captain from 2018 to 2023. He won multiple titles, including two DFB-Pokals and three DFL-Supercups, and reached two Champions League finals. Reus is one of the few players to achieve 100 goals and assists in the Bundesliga. Internationally, Reus has earned 48 caps for Germany, but injuries kept him from major tournaments, including the 2014 World Cup, where Germany triumphed. Despite this, he remains one of Germany’s most talented and respected players.
