Luis Robert Moirán Jr. (born August 3, 1997) is a dynamic Cuban center fielder for the Chicago White Sox. After defecting from Cuba in 2016, Robert signed with the White Sox in 2017 and made his MLB debut in 2020. Known for his incredible athleticism, he won the Gold Glove Award in his rookie season. A five-tool player, Robert has impressed with both his power and speed. In 2023, he was named an All-Star, further cementing his status as one of the brightest young talents in the game.
