Lucas François Bernard Hernandez, born on February 14, 1996, is a French professional footballer who plays as a centre-back or left-back for Paris Saint-Germain and the France national team. Renowned for his defensive skills and versatility, Hernandez began his career with Atlético Madrid. At Atlético, he made over 100 appearances and contributed to their 2016 UEFA Champions League final run. He won the UEFA Europa League and Super Cup in 2018. In 2019, Hernandez transferred to Bayern Munich, where he achieved a remarkable treble by winning the Bundesliga, DFB-Pokal, and Champions League in his debut season. In 2023, he joined Paris Saint-Germain. Hernandez has been a French international since 2018, playing a key role in France’s 2018 FIFA World Cup victory and participating in UEFA Euro 2020 and the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
