Granit Xhaka (born 27 September 1992) is a Swiss midfielder known for his leadership and technical prowess. He began his career at FC Basel, winning two Swiss Super League titles, before moving to Borussia Mönchengladbach in 2012, where he became club captain and led them to UEFA Champions League qualification. In 2016, Xhaka joined Arsenal for £30 million, winning two FA Cups and briefly serving as captain. In 2023, he returned to the Bundesliga with Bayer Leverkusen, helping them secure their first-ever league title. Xhaka, Switzerland’s most-capped player, has represented his country in three World Cups and three European Championships
