Carlos Henrique Casimiro (born 23 February 1992), widely known as Casemiro, is a Brazilian defensive midfielder for Premier League club Manchester United and the captain of the Brazil national team. Celebrated as one of the top defensive midfielders of his era, Casemiro excels in defensive play, ball recovery, and tackling.Starting his career at São Paulo, Casemiro caught the eye of Real Madrid with his strong defensive performances. After a loan spell at FC Porto, he was reintegrated into Real Madrid, where he played a pivotal role in their success, contributing to three La Liga titles, five UEFA Champions League trophies, and multiple other honors. In 2022, Casemiro transferred to Manchester United for €70.65 million, winning the EFL Cup in his inaugural season.
