Antonio Rüdiger (born 3 March 1993) is a German centre-back who excels at Real Madrid and for the Germany national team. Known for his aggressive style, speed, and aerial prowess, Rüdiger began his career with VfB Stuttgart, moving to Roma in 2015. He joined Chelsea in 2017 for £27 million, winning the FA Cup, UEFA Europa League, and UEFA Champions League. In 2022, he transferred to Real Madrid, clinching another Champions League title in 2024. Internationally, Rüdiger debuted in 2014, and has since featured in the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup, 2018 World Cup, UEFA Euro 2020, 2022 World Cup, and UEFA Euro 2024.
