Sevilla

Sevilla Fútbol Club, founded on 25 January 1890, is Spain’s oldest football-only club and a powerhouse in Andalusia. With a record seven UEFA Cup/Europa League titles, most recently in 2023, Sevilla has established itself as a European force. The club has won La Liga once (1945-46), five Spanish Cups, and one Spanish Super Cup. Their home ground, the 43,883-seat Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium, is a fortress in the Nervión district. Sevilla’s fierce rivalry with Real Betis defines the city’s football culture. The club’s youth academy, Sevilla Atlético, and its women’s team further strengthen its legacy.
