New York Knicks

The New York Knicks, established in 1946 by Ned Irish, are a storied NBA franchise based in Manhattan, New York City. As one of the league’s founding members, the Knicks have seen varying levels of success. They won two NBA championships in 1970 and 1973 under coach Red Holzman, and reached the Finals in 1994 and 1999 during the Patrick Ewing era. Known for their tough defense in the 1990s, the team has struggled in recent years but claimed a division title in 2012-13. Playing home games at Madison Square Garden, the Knicks remain an iconic team in the NBA.
