LAFC

Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) is an American professional soccer team based in Los Angeles, competing in Major League Soccer’s Western Conference. Established on October 30, 2014, LAFC began play in 2018. They play home matches at BMO Stadium, a soccer-specific venue in Exposition Park. Managed by Brandon Beck, Larry Berg, and Bennett Rosenthal, with part-owner Will Ferrell, LAFC has quickly made an impact. Their first major success came in 2019, winning the Supporters’ Shield with Carlos Vela earning MVP honors. LAFC clinched their first MLS Cup in 2022 and has been a strong competitor in the CONCACAF Champions League. The team has a heated rivalry with the LA Galaxy, known as “El Tráfico.”
