Eintracht Frankfurt e.V., founded on March 8, 1899, is a prominent German sports club based in Frankfurt, Hesse. The football team, competing in the Bundesliga, is recognized for its historic successes and consistent top-tier presence. The club has won the German championship once, the DFB-Pokal five times, and the UEFA Europa League twice. They were also runners-up in the European Cup. Eintracht Frankfurt was among the founding members of the Bundesliga and has spent 55 seasons in Germany’s top division, making it the seventh-longest participating club. The team’s home ground, Deutsche Bank Park, has been their stadium since 1925. Known for a strong fan base with high attendance rates, Eintracht Frankfurt boasts one of the most passionate supporter groups in Germany. The club’s highest appearance holder in the Bundesliga is Charly Körbel, with 602 appearances.
