Cleveland Cavaliers

The Cleveland Cavaliers, established in 1970, are a prominent NBA team based in Cleveland, Ohio, and play in the Central Division of the Eastern Conference. Known as the Cavs, they struggled initially but rose to prominence in the late 1980s with stars like Mark Price and Brad Daugherty. The franchise’s fortunes transformed dramatically after drafting LeBron James in 2003, leading to their first NBA Finals appearance in 2007. James’ return in 2014 sparked a new era of success, culminating in the Cavs’ historic 2016 NBA Championship. The team has won seven Central Division titles, five Eastern Conference titles, and made 23 playoff appearances
