Roope Hintz(C)

Roope Hintz, born November 17, 1996, is a Finnish professional ice hockey forward and alternate captain for the Dallas Stars in the NHL. Nicknamed the “Ace of Spades,” he began his career in Finland with the Ilves organization. Hintz gained experience in North American junior leagues, including the Tampa Bay Juniors and Bismarck Bobcats, before returning to Ilves, where he made a mark in the Liiga. He recorded 17 points in his debut season and became the youngest player on the team. Selected 49th overall in the 2015 NHL Draft, Hintz has since established himself as a key player for the Stars.
