Oliver George Arthur Watkins (b. 30 December 1995) is an English forward for Aston Villa and the England national team. A product of Exeter City’s academy, Watkins earned the EFL Young Player of the Year before moving to Brentford in 2017. At Brentford, he was joint top-scorer in the 2019–20 Championship and won Championship Player of the Year in 2020. He joined Aston Villa in September 2020 and was named Premier League Playmaker of the Season in 2024. Known for his pace and finishing, Watkins is celebrated for his attacking versatility and playmaking ability.
