Max Dorian Fried (born January 18, 1994) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Atlanta Braves in Major League Baseball (MLB). Drafted by the San Diego Padres in 2012, he made his MLB debut in 2017. Fried excelled in 2019, recording 17 wins, the second-most in the National League (NL), and followed with seven wins in 2020, again ranking second in the NL. His standout performance included six shutout innings in the 2021 World Series finale against the Houston Astros, leading the Braves to their first title in 26 years. As of 2023, he boasts the best career win-loss percentage (.705) among Braves pitchers.
