Matthew Stafford

John Matthew Stafford (born February 7, 1988) is an American professional football quarterback for the Los Angeles Rams of the National Football League (NFL). Stafford played college football at the University of Georgia, where he became one of the top quarterbacks in the nation before being selected by the Detroit Lions as the first overall pick in the 2009 NFL Draft. Stafford is widely regarded for his arm strength and ability to make big plays under pressure. He ranks in the top 12 of all-time in key passing stats like pass attempts, completions, passing yards, and passing touchdowns. Stafford also holds the record as the fastest player in NFL history to reach 40,000 career passing yards. After a successful career with the Detroit Lions, Stafford joined the Los Angeles Rams, where he won Super Bowl LVI and further solidified his legacy as one of the game’s top quarterbacks.
