Mark Stone, born May 13, 1992, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, is a Canadian professional ice hockey right winger and the captain of the Vegas Golden Knights in the NHL. Drafted 178th overall by the Ottawa Senators in 2010, he emerged as a star during the 2014–15 season, tying for the rookie scoring lead with 64 points and earning a Calder Trophy nomination. Renowned for his two-way play, Stone has been a finalist for the Frank J. Selke Trophy. In 2018, he was traded to Vegas, signed a long-term deal, and became the franchise’s first captain in 2021, cementing his legacy in the NHL.
