Lamar Demeatrice Jackson Jr. (born January 7, 1997) is an electrifying American football quarterback for the Baltimore Ravens. He played college football at the University of Louisville, where he won the Heisman Trophy in 2016. Jackson was selected by the Ravens with the final pick of the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft. Initially expected to serve as a backup, Jackson became the starting quarterback after an injury to Joe Flacco. He quickly made his mark by leading the Ravens to a division title and becoming the youngest quarterback in NFL history to start a playoff game. Known for his exceptional speed and playmaking ability, Jackson continues to dominate on the field and has become one of the league’s most exciting players. Over the years, he has earned numerous accolades, including multiple Pro Bowl selections and an MVP award.
