Kyle Terrell Lowry, born March 25, 1986, is an accomplished American professional basketball player for the Philadelphia 76ers in the NBA. A six-time All-Star, Lowry earned All-NBA Third Team honors in 2016 and played a pivotal role in securing the Toronto Raptors’ historic 2019 championship—their first in franchise history. Widely regarded as one of the greatest Raptors players, he transformed the franchise’s fortunes from the post-Vince Carter era, leading them to sustained success from 2012 to 2021. Lowry also represented the U.S. national team, winning a gold medal at the 2016 Summer Olympics, further solidifying his legacy in basketball.
