Klay Thompson (born February 8, 1990, Los Angeles, California) is an NBA shooting guard renowned for his exceptional shooting prowess and defensive capabilities. Drafted 11th overall by the Golden State Warriors in the 2011 NBA Draft, Thompson quickly established himself as one of the league’s premier shooters. His contribution was pivotal in leading the Warriors to multiple NBA championships (2015, 2017, 2018), earning him three All-Star selections and two All-NBA Team honors. Known as part of the “Splash Brothers” alongside Stephen Curry, Thompson has been celebrated for his incredible shooting performance, especially his record-setting 37 points in a single quarter in 2015.
