Justin Herbert (born March 10, 1998) is an American professional football quarterback for the Los Angeles Chargers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Oregon, where he won the 2019 Pac-12 Championship and was named to the All-Pac-12 team multiple times. Herbert was drafted by the Chargers with the sixth overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. Herbert made an immediate impact as the Chargers’ starting quarterback, taking over in Week 2 of his rookie year. He set several rookie records, including most touchdown passes and 300-yard games in a season. Additionally, Herbert was awarded the AP NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year honors for his outstanding performance. As a rising star in the league, Herbert continues to develop into one of the top quarterbacks in the NFL, known for his strong arm, leadership, and playmaking ability.
