Jonathan Taylor is an American professional football running back for the Indianapolis Colts in the National Football League (NFL). Born on January 19, 1999, in Salem, New Jersey, Taylor rose to prominence during his college football career with the Wisconsin Badgers, where he set numerous records, including becoming the first player to rush for over 6,000 yards in a three-year span. He was a top contender for the Heisman Trophy and won the Doak Walker Award twice. Drafted by the Colts in 2020, Taylor made an immediate impact, leading the NFL in rushing yards and touchdowns in 2021, earning unanimous All-Pro and Pro Bowl honors. Despite a few injury setbacks, Taylor remains one of the league’s premier running backs.
