Jeffery Bernard Simmons Jr., commonly known as Jeffery Simmons, is an American professional football defensive tackle for the Tennessee Titans in the NFL. Born on July 28, 1997, in Jena, Louisiana, he played college football for the Mississippi State Bulldogs. After an impressive collegiate career, Simmons was selected by the Titans with the 19th overall pick in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft. He has quickly established himself as a key player in the Titans’ defense due to his athleticism, strength, and disruptive play on the line of scrimmage.
