Jalen Hurts

Jalen Alexander Hurts (born August 7, 1998) is an American professional football quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles of the NFL. He began his college football career with Alabama, where he led the team to two consecutive College Football Playoff National Championship appearances in 2016 and 2017. After being replaced by Tua Tagovailoa during the 2017 championship game, Hurts spent one season as a backup before transferring to Oklahoma for his final collegiate season in 2019. At Oklahoma, he led the team to a College Football Playoff appearance, showcasing his dual-threat abilities. Hurts was selected by the Eagles in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft and became their starting quarterback towards the end of his rookie season. He had a breakout year in 2022, leading the Eagles to the top seed in the NFC and an appearance in Super Bowl LVII, earning Pro Bowl and second-team All-Pro honors. Hurts has consistently led Philadelphia to the playoffs and is recognized as one of the NFL’s top quarterbacks.
