The Florida Panthers are an NHL team based in Sunrise, Florida, and compete in the Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference. Founded in 1993, they initially played at the Miami Arena before moving to the Amerant Bank Arena in 1998. The Panthers are the southernmost team in the NHL and have made significant strides over the years, including playoff appearances and a Stanley Cup Final run in 1996. They are affiliated with the AHL’s Charlotte Checkers and ECHL’s Savannah Ghost Pirates. As of 2024, they transitioned from Bally Sports Florida to Scripps Sports for their broadcasting rights.
