Erling Braut Haaland (born 21 July 2000) is a Norwegian striker for Manchester City and the Norway national team. Renowned for his exceptional speed, strength, and finishing, he shattered records in his debut Premier League season with 36 goals, the highest ever in a single season. Haaland began at Bryne and Molde, then moved to Red Bull Salzburg and Borussia Dortmund, winning the DFB-Pokal in 2021. At City, his 52 goals in his first season contributed to a continental treble. Awarded the Golden Boy in 2020 and UEFA Men’s Player of the Year in 2023, he holds numerous Premier League records and was named IFFHS World’s Best Player in 2023.
