Edmonton Oilers

The Edmonton Oilers, founded in 1972, are an NHL team based in Edmonton, Alberta, competing in the Western Conference’s Pacific Division. They play at Rogers Place, which opened in 2016. The team has won five Stanley Cups, largely during the 1980s dynasty led by Wayne Gretzky. As of November 2023, Kris Knoblauch serves as head coach, while Stan Bowman was appointed general manager in July 2024.
