Dak Prescott

Rayne Dakota “Dak” Prescott (born July 29, 1993) is the starting quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys in the NFL. Originally drafted in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL draft from Mississippi State, where he earned first-team All-SEC honors twice, Prescott quickly emerged as a standout player. Although he was intended to serve as a backup during his rookie season, Prescott stepped up as the starter after an injury sidelined Tony Romo. He led the Cowboys to the NFC’s top seed and set several rookie records, earning the Offensive Rookie of the Year award. Prescott has maintained a strong performance, ranking sixth all-time in completion percentage (with a minimum of 1,500 pass attempts) and ninth in career passer rating in the regular season. Notably, he has led the Cowboys to three division titles and earned three Pro Bowl selections. In 2022, he was honored with the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year award.
