Christian Pulisic

Christian Mate Pulisic, born September 18, 1998, is an American professional soccer player known for his role as a winger or attacking midfielder for Serie A club AC Milan and as captain of the United States national team. Nicknamed “Captain America” for his dribbling, speed, and finishing, Pulisic began his career with Borussia Dortmund, making a significant impact and contributing to their 2016–17 DFB-Pokal win. In January 2019, he transferred to Chelsea for $73 million, becoming the most expensive North American player at the time. At Chelsea, he was pivotal in their 2020–21 UEFA Champions League win and the 2021 UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup victories. Moving to AC Milan in June 2023, he became the Serie A’s all-time American top scorer in his first season. Pulisic has won multiple CONCACAF Nations League titles and is a four-time U.S. Soccer Player of the Year.
