Carlos Correa

Carlos Correa, born September 22, 1994, is a Puerto Rican shortstop currently playing for the Minnesota Twins in MLB. A standout prospect, he was selected first overall by the Houston Astros in the 2012 MLB draft and debuted in 2015, winning the AL Rookie of the Year. Correa earned multiple accolades, including a World Series title in 2017, two All-Star appearances, and Gold and Platinum Glove Awards in 2021. After seven seasons with the Astros, he signed with the Twins in 2022, but after failed physicals with the Giants and Mets, he re-signed with Minnesota, continuing his elite career.
