Ausar XLNC Thompson (born January 30, 2003) is an American professional basketball player for the Detroit Pistons in the NBA. A five-star recruit from Pine Crest School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Thompson won a state title before joining Overtime Elite (OTE). Skipping his senior year, he played two seasons in OTE, securing two consecutive championships and being named Finals MVP twice. In 2023, Thompson was named OTE league MVP before being drafted fifth overall by the Pistons. Known for his versatility and athleticism, Ausar is also the twin brother of fellow NBA player Amen Thompson.
