Aleksander “Sasha” Barkov, born on September 2, 1995, is a Finnish-Russian professional ice hockey player and the captain of the Florida Panthers in the NHL. Drafted second overall by the Panthers in 2013, Barkov is celebrated as one of the league’s elite two-way centers, excelling in both offense and defense.
