Adam Fox, born February 17, 1998, is an elite American defenseman and alternate captain for the New York Rangers. Drafted 66th overall by the Calgary Flames in 2016, Fox’s offensive vision and defensive reliability quickly made him one of the NHL’s top players. He joined the Rangers in 2019, and by 2021, won the prestigious James Norris Memorial Trophy as the league’s best defenseman, becoming only the second player after Bobby Orr to win the award before his third NHL season. Fox is celebrated for his exceptional hockey IQ, puck-handling skills, and ability to impact both ends of the ice.
