Aaron Charles Rodgers, born on December 2, 1983, is a prominent American football quarterback currently playing for the New York Jets in the NFL. After a standout college career at California, where he set numerous passing records, Rodgers was selected in the first round of the 2005 NFL draft by the Green Bay Packers.
