Aaron LaRae Jones is an American professional football running back for the Minnesota Vikings in the NFL. Born on December 2, 1994, in Savannah, Georgia, Jones had a standout college career at UTEP, where he played for the Miners from 2013 to 2016. After being selected in the fifth round of the 2017 NFL Draft by the Green Bay Packers, he quickly emerged as one of the league’s top running backs. During his seven seasons with the Packers, Jones earned recognition as a Pro Bowler in 2020 and led the league in rushing touchdowns in 2019. His contributions helped the Packers in both their rushing attack and their passing game, as he has also been a valuable receiving option out of the backfield. He ranks third in Packers’ history for all-time rushing yards. In 2024, he signed with the Minnesota Vikings to continue his NFL career.
